Extremely Pleased!
I oftentimes tried 4-Inch PVC Sewer Line for my main run, and that I have 4 “drops” coming from the main line. On each “drop”, I’ve a blast gate, and around 10 to 15 feet of 4-Inch hose. Each “drop” could be connected to a tool of my choice (just about anything I’m using during the time). If all your major air leaks are cared for, this Delta 50-760 Dust Collector includes a considerable amount of air-flow (suction). I’d simply no issues in damage to machine, or box. Setting this Delta 50-760 up was very easy, and took under half an hour. Perhaps it’s just the shop size, or layout, but if you ask me, this can be one of many quietest dust collectors that I’ve ever been around. I’m able to proceed a standard conversation, with no raising my voice, with this particular thing running. I take advantage of it a lot to clean for things that a dust collection system is not going to focus on (I personally use it being a shop vac), which is really quiet. I would not think of running my shop vacs now (noise level is extreme on these). Very Good for Your Shop!
We have just purchased a few products from Amazon, and in contrast to others, have had no problems. No damage in delivery and products are already received when promised. I’ve not had any knowledge about their customer support department.
This Delta 50-760 has met my expectations totally. The cost was excellent, as well as the product is great. Set up was simple and easy. It really is quiet. It’s got lots of suction capacity to handle things in my shop. I would not look after the strap clamp store the chip bag, however the cloth covered band that’s delivered with the machine is extremely convenient alternative and is useful. After reading all of the reviews here and somewhere else, and doing times of research, I made a decision to get this Delta 50-760 Dust Collector. It arrived before schedule from the Amazon website in great condition. I build it in less than 25 min’s and had it attached with my lathe and operating in minutes.
I’m very satisfied with suction power of the 1.5 hp unit, it can be the model’s unique design (i.e., hose free link between the intake, impeller and bag) however it seems better than the 2 or maybe 3 hp units I’ve come across 1st hand in buddy’s workshops. I now have it attached with a collection hood on my lathe, so when operational, it snatches just of dust and wood chip although turning even large pieces. The piles of saw dust designed to use to amass with my old 1/2 hp collector are gone for good.
In reality, this Delta 50-760 so effective, you truly need to hold on to your sandpaper whilst finishing (though discussing from working experience, it can eat sandpaper and shop rags quite well…lol). I have observed no dust leak from the 1 micron bag, in reality the bag appears to even filter fumes from wood finishes, much to the pleasure of my spouse very sensitive nose. Therefore I leave it running to help dry the tasks I finish on my lathe.
I have also hooked a 12 ft. shop hose into it that does a fantastic job for cleaning the shop.
